Yikes, I hope the rest of the songs are better. I don't like that one at all.

Wanda Sykes LOVES Sade and was really hyping her up on her show last night and invited her to be on.

Well, finally! They hadn't updated that site since Lover's Rock.

Sade may very be one of the laziest bands in the world.

A cool video but the song is terrible.

Well, it is so different for them. They are known for having such a smooth sound and yet this song is very beat-driven, but I do find the beat to be very hypnotic and works well. I do hope that the whole album isn't like this though.

Really? It's got more of an "urban" feel than past Sade stuff but it's not terrible. The beat is, as they say, 'off the hook'.

She looks damn good in that video. I love that she's in her 50's and still looks amazing. The Lasso shots are fuckin' HOT....

I don't know...I just don't think the song works on any level. Plus her vocals aren't very good on it either. Sorry, I just think overall everything is pretty awful. She, however, looks SMOKIN! Still.

The Vid is like a bond short and song is ok and I am sure this is the first single off the new CD.

I got the album today. After a couple of listens, all I can say is that it is exactly what you would expect from a new Sade album. It sounds like the previous albums, and it also pretty much talks about the same things. They haven't reinvented themselves. In fact, you could almost say that this album could have come out ten, perhaps even twenty years ago.

This is, of course, not a bad thing. I really like the album.

Totally forgot this album was coming out until a friend remind me last night at work.

Gotta pick this up today.

^Nope, Michael Buble EP. I was hoping for Sade too. She has been the #1 Top Seller album though which I'm happy about. For her, I'd rather have a CD.

Bring on the remixes! I have listened to Solider Of Love about 3 times and Villi is right about nothing new was brought to table for Sade but that's all good.

I hope she does a tour in northwest this time would be real nice and dam she looks so fine for 51!

I think "Soldier of Love" is nothing like she's done before if only because of the percussions.

I waited to watch Sade on THE VIEW and one minute into her song I shut off the t.v.

I notice this album seems to follow the typical Sade pattern (of course there are exceptions to the rule... Pearls and Cherish The Day on Love Deluxe and Cherry Pie on Diamond Life for a few) where the best cuts are all placed at the beginning of the album and then it crashes in the second half (Promise is probably the worst culprit.... to start an album with the one-two punch of Is It A Crime and The Sweetest Taboo makes the rest of the album impossible to keep up). I've listened to the cd about 7 or 8 times now and love the first half of the album yet just can't get into the last few songs and even after that many spins the tracks seem to go in and out the ears.

Soldie of Love is one of the worst songs she's ever done. Album is very average. Kind of a disappointment after so long.

I love this cd. I was expecting to only love 2 or 3 songs and just like the rest, but I've enjoyed every cut on this cd.

She opened with a little more than 500k in the US alone. Brilliant results especially considering February is generally a dead time for the industry. She'll be on Wanda Sykes' show tomorrow night.

Just saw the news blurb about this hitting #1 on Billboard this week. Quite a feat for an artist that hasn't released anything in several years. Good for her. Hopefully some US tour dates will be forthcoming soon.
