Need help with name of mid 90's band? (African beats mostly)
I don't have much to go on, but they were popular in the 90's. maybe early to mid? One album in particular was kinda mainstream.
Their sound is mostly African beats and rhythms. They had maybe 2 songs on Top 40 radio at the time, maybe just one. This one album had these two songs i believe, but most songs had few to no words, just beats and funky music, but was very catchy. Again, very few actual lyrics.
"Jimaway, i can fly oh jimaway, oh....." something like that is a lyric i can remember.
I know not a lot, but would love to know the name of this band. Thanks in advance for any help!
