Michel Gondry: More Videos Before & After DVD 1 - April 14th, 2009

from pitchfork:

Michel Gondry Preps New Compilation DVD
Features videos from Beck, Radiohead, and Björk.

Michel Gondry might be the greatest video director of all time. There, I said it. Along with helming movies like Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind and The Science of Sleep, the frightfully creative French auteur is responsible for classics like the White Stripes' "Fell in Love With a Girl", Björk's "Bachelorette", and Daft Punk's "Around the World". All those were included on 2003's Director's Label release The Work of Michel Gondry.

And while Gondry hasn't done too many music videos since then, he has completed a few for people like Beck ("Cellphone's Dead"), Paul McCartney ("Dance Tonight"), and the White Stripes ("The Denial Twist", which features Pitchfork's Tom Breihan in a faceless cameo). Those clips and others make up Michel Gondry 2: More Videos Before & After DVD 1, due April 14 via Gondry's website.

More info including the track list below:

The new DVD will also feature The Simpsons' "The Hardest Button to Button" parody, Gondry playing drums with funk legend Booker T, the director's famed Rubik's Cube tricks, and a new piece called How to Blow Up a Helicopter (Ayako’s Story) and described as a "heartbreaking documentary-style portrait of a girl trying to connect with her father (who happens to be Steven Seagal)" in a press release. You might have to read that last sentence twice. Full tracklist:
