Re: KMFDM - Blitz
yeah that setlist was from the european shows that they have been kinda following in the U.S...for the NYC show they skipped More N Faster, also skipped Davai.
Looks like the U.S. is getting shorter sets.

Angelspit was pretty boring. In fact, it was really boring.
KMFDM was, well, KMFDM. If you've seen them once, you've seen every show they do.

Sadly, I must agree with that last comment.
The last I saw them (2004) I found the set-list for another show, and was disappointed when the set-list *was the same songs in the same order* at the show I went to.
I think En Esch needs to return to mix things up a bit.

I like the song "Real Thing" because it sounds like it could have been a Garbage song.
When the only reason I like songs from my favorite group is when they sound like other groups I like, its time to call it a day.

My first listening was pretty underwhleming. I wound up warming up to Blitz in the same circumstances so we'll see if that happens here. I'm used to their records kicking off with a bang though and this one is kind of low-key at the start.

I didn't notice her as much though part of that is because a few of the songs she is lead on are actually quite good. "Rebels in Kontrol" and "Take it Like a Man" in particular. Counting the songs she's on though her ratio is pretty high- probably about the same as the last few albums.

Lucia is reigned in a little more this time, and like you said, the songs she's featured on are pretty good in their own right.
I'm digging "Krank," "Amnesia," "Lynchmob," & "Dystopia." "Take it Like a Man" is good...but not as good as it's predecessor "Strut."
Very solid effort all around.

I really don't like WTF?!, or at least I haven't found songs I really like on it. I will try out the songs again you mentioned though.
