LOL! I'm trying to find out who she is too! I just came back from Bumbershoot where Raphael Saadiq was tonight's headliner and she was amazing her voice reminds me of Stephanie Mills but her stage presence is awesome. Maybe I'm crazy but I see a potential star on the rise in her.
She's his only female backup singer, seen at every performance, every show, onstage with him. I saw her first on "Ellen", where Saadiq performed "100 Yard Dash". She also appears in the music video, viewable on YouTube (but she's not the other "hot chick" in the video, she's only the backup vocalist).
Any live clips I've seen have her in them; he has 2 backup singers, one male, one female.
I've Googled this 50 f'n ways, with no results that help. All the reviews mention her! But not a damn one names her.
