Steve Lillywhite interviews on NPR...
Steve Lillywhite, for those who don't know, has produced a lot of great albums over the years. My favorites are:
* The first three U2 albums
* The first two Big Country albums
* Simple Minds' "Sparkle in the Rain"
* The Pogues "If I Should Fall From Grace With God"
* Morrissey "Vauxhall and I"
I just discovered he has a nice little series of interviews on NPR, where he talks about making some of these albums.
For those who are interested, here's the link to "Vauxhall and I":

Yeah, these are really entertaining---Lillywhite is an animated, enthusiastic guy. The Peter Gabriel one was very interesting, and I liked his description of working with Morrissey: "Morrissey---and I don't mean this in a nasty way---is just a very strange man."
