"Chicka-Boom-Chicka-Boom" (don't you just love it?)
How infectious is this song, from 1971? Man, I just love it now. Authored by "Daddy Dewdrop," this was a Top 10 hit in 1971 and featured on the Groovie Ghoulie program.
I'm a 38-year old man, and I ain't never heard this song before a couple of weeks ago, when I was doing a search for The Archies and this song was erroneously included in that set. After hearing it, I knew it wasn't The Archies, and went on to find out about it.
Anyway, it is a goofy song, to be sure, but it is a dream (so he says in the beginning), and quite sexual (for a novelty tune).
Anyone here just lovin' it?

This song has always been in the back of my mind from when I was a kid, right along with Dead Skunk In The Middle Of The Road. Coincidentally, I actually downloaded both of them not too long ago.
Looking back, I see it didn't take much to entertain us in the 70's.
