FYI, Amazon has added a Free MP3 of the Day(maybe in response to Rhapsody?), it is located below the Deal of the Day on the MP3 home page. I don't think this is a recycling of the typical free MP3s that they offer.

How long do the LaLa deals usually last? I want in on that Mars Volta, but have to wait until Friday.

I think the deals might last a week, but I never checked more than a day or two after Tuesday.

A couple of weeks ago, they had the new Anti-Flag for $4 for most of Tuesday, but by the time I got home that night, they'd jacked the price up to $8. Seemed weird to have the special last less than a full day, so that might have been a fluke.
