Id a song for me

Can't get some of the lyrics out of my head but can't think of the name of the song or the singer.

It's a male singer. Some of the lyrics are "Tell me who's crying now" and then something "on a tin roof". Not much to go on but it's on the radio quite often so I assume it's recent.

Journey comes to mind but its not recent. A genere of music might help. Rock, hip hop, R & B, pop?

It's pop. Sorta sounds like it could be a Hootie song.

"I'll Be" by Edwin McCain? It's not recent but the lyrics you mention are similar.

Yep, that was it thanks!! I never listened to too much of the lyrics but liked the tune. I thought it might be recent because it keeps getting played over the PA system almost daily.
