Oh man that would freakin' awesome!

Not gettin' my hopes up too much though.

Re: So, um... Phish is back

I saw zzyx's post yesterday on Phantasy Tour, and I'm almost positive he was just fucking with people. First, I cannot imagine that the estate of Jimi Hendrix even knows who Phish is. Second, if they did, would they specifically request a bunch of nerdy, middle aged white guys to cover their son's set? Third, some of his posts later in that thread stated that Safeco was opening up its parking garage for camping, which is just absurd.

Let's take a minute to contemplate what a parking garage would look like at the end of a 3 day Phish festival. They'd probably have to demolish it.

Camping in a parking garage? I would want to be on the top level to avoid the flood caused by hippies pissing right outside their tents.

That reveal was great, loved the way they fucked with everybody over the few weeks.

I was honestly getting tired of the map. Glad the location has been revealed.

Re: So, um... Phish is back

Well I thought that was pretty anticlimactic, they could have at least flown it back in with the hot air balloons.

Also what's up with not even giving us the details?

Anyway, like I said weeks ago:

Just booked a really nice RV. I think I'd rather do that than a hotel.

Just got my tickets and an RV pass. Apparently, RV passes are already sold out. Crazy.

I highly recommend downloading Friday's show from the Gorge if you haven't already.

Awesome jams in Gin, Sally and Light and my pick for best show of 3.0 so far.

Agreed that Friday's show is best 3.0 show so far. Saturday's show is way up there as well. Still haven't heard the Chicago show from last night.

Where can they be heard?

heard the Chicago show was the worst of 3.0

I've seen 5 shows so far this year and like where the band is heading, hopefully Merriweather keeps it up.

So Joy has leaked

Really like it after a few passes, possibly the best since Ghost.

Stand out tracks - Sugar Shack, Joy, Light

So, what an incredible festival! The amount of organization and planning that went into every single aspect made it (possibly) my most memorable Phish weekend ever (the 40 foot RV didn't hurt). Really hope they do it again next year.

Bring the festival back to the east coast. I listened to it on Sirius and thought they were really on for the most part.

So was that one of the best Suzy Greenburgs ever?

Depends on how you like your Suzys I suppose, I definitely thought it was one of the best, but for the all time best I'll still probably go with the funkfest from 9/14/00.

Had a great time this weekend, let's hope this becomes a Southern Cali tradition!

You would NOT have said that if you were there (and that's a quote from my buddy from Virginia who flew in for the fest). I think the Polo Grounds might be the best location for a fest I have ever seen. It was perfect.

Also, I've been seeing live music since 1990 and seeing Phish since 1995. "Shine A Light" may be my favorite live music moment ever. "Just Wanna See His Face" ranks close behind. Phish nailed Exile on Main St.

We’re excited to announce “Phish 3D” – filmed at Festival 8 in Indio, California – opening in theaters nationwide on Friday, April 30th for an exclusive one week run. The band performed 8 sets over the course of the weekend, including a special Acoustic Set on Sunday afternoon. Keeping the tradition of past Halloween shows, they donned a musical costume on Halloween night, covering The Rolling Stones’ album Exile On Main Street. You can watch the official trailer here.

In advance of the nationwide roll-out, exclusive preview screenings will be shown in nine cities – Boston; Burlington, VT; Chicago; Denver; Houston; Los Angeles; New York; Raleigh/Durham, NC; and Washington, D.C. – on Tuesday, April 20th. Fans in attendance of these screenings will take home a Phish 3D movie poster.

Tickets for the Tuesday, April 20th screenings will be available for purchase on Friday, March 26 (individual theater on-sale dates may be subject to change). Ticketing information will be available at phish3dmovie.com or with the following theaters.

PHISH 3D ADVANCE 4/20 SCREENINGS

Boston – Showcase Cinemas Revere
Burlington, VT – Majestic 10 Williston
Chicago – Muvico Rosemont 18 Theatre
Denver – Location TBD (we’ll update you soon)
Houston – Studio Movie Grill Center City
Los Angeles – Rave Motion Pictures 18 (formerly The Bridge)
New York – Pavilion Theatre Brooklyn
Raleigh/Durham, NC – Wynnsong 15
Washington, D.C./Fairfax, VA – Fairfax Corner 14
I've got tickets for the 4/20 showing in Fairfax, it's only like 10 minutes from my house. I don't think they have any clue what is coming their way.

The Denver showing is TBD becuase the original theater got bombarded with calls and decided to cancel their screening. They are looking for another theater.

As for the summer tour, I put in for Hershey, Camden N2 and both nights of Merriweather. I'm thinking about doing Camden N1, but I don't think any of my friends want to take off work.

put in for hartford x2, mansfield, and jones beach x2.

would love to do more, but bad timing with pearl jam tickets the week before.

missed out on brooklyn phish 3d tickets. that was really poorly handled. really wanted the poster more than just being able to see it early. sucks. i'll be seeing it on the national release though.
