i will second "lily, rosemary, and the jack of hearts" by bob dylan:
And Rosemary on the gallows, she didn't even blink,
The hangin' judge was sober, he hadn't had a drink.

Doesn't completely fit the crime but Robert Earl Keen's "Undone". If nothing else, it's a great song.

Nice three year bump
"One for the Cutters" by The Hold Steady which is a story-song about a upper middle class college girl falling in with some questionable characters
"The Trees" by Pulp which I think is about a sociopath killing a girl in the woods if I'm interpreting it correctly
"All Day Long" by New Order which is a fairly horrific song about child abuse
"Kerosene" by Big Black which is about boredom-induced pyromania
"Matty Groves" by Fairport Convention which is a great traditional song about adultery-driven murder with an awesome guitar workout at the end

Stan Ridgway has a number of great crime/noir songs:

Re: Great songs about crime
I thought of a few that were already mentioned but I will throw up at least 3 from a band I really like.
The Ballad of T.V. Violence - originally titled “The Ballad of Richard Speck,” after the Chicago mass murderer
Daddy Should Have Stayed in High School - is about a pedophile
Closer, the Ballad of Burt and Linda - love song about Burton Pugach, the New York lawyer who spent fourteen years in prison for hiring thugs to throw lye in the face of his girlfriend and future wife, Linda Riss

"Bonnie and Clyde," sung by Serge Gainsbourg and Brigitte Bardot (used for a production number in RUSH HOUR 3)
"John Wesley Harding," by Bob Dylan, about the Texas outlaw, John Wesley Hardin. (Don't know why he added the "g")
