All My Life- Foo Fighters

Take It Easy- The Eagles

Goin' Out West- Tom Waits

Prince- Little Red Corvette
Great choices, particularly "Take It Easy", and "Little Red Corvette"

I'd also like to add:

Take It To The Limit by The Eagles

Dreams by Fleetwood Mac

Sweet Dreams by Eurythmics

You know, I could probably make a disc of great summer songs just from The Eagles and Fleetwood Mac. Such great groups!

There's a lot of music that I am sure we both enjoy, you just don't know it, because you always dismiss me because I like Madonna. I'm actually a music lover, in general (not a big country fan (some of it I like), and absolutely can't tolerate rap). Madonna isn't my only cup of tea. She's one of my favorite, but, not my only.

Major Label Debut (Fast) and Pacific Theme by Broken Social Scene are really good songs to listen to at any time, but especially during summer.

Re: Let's put together a summer mix

"Centerfield" by John Fogerty comes to mind. I could do (and in the past, have done) an entire summer country mix, but I'll save myself the typing since I doubt anyone else would care about those songs.

Also, the theme from Jaws, which I would throw on at the end of the mix, sort like a bonus track. It always gets played at a public pool somewhere over the summer and has become entrenched in my mind during the warm months whenever I'm around water.

Barometer Soup - Jimmy Buffett

It's 5 O'Clock Somewhere - Alan Jackson

All I Wanna Do - Sheryl Crow

Changes In Latitudes - Jimmy Buffett

Don't know why this song reminds me of summer. Maybe I first heard it in the summer?
