He's one of the best guitarists I've ever heard.

He can certainly play but best? Really? How many guitarists have you actually heard? I personally can't think of a more boring guitar player.

He was also very funny doing bits on TMZ in NYC last night.

Saw him live tonight. Awesome show. And he's definitely anything but boring with the axe in his hand. The guy was amazing.

By the way, has anyone else noticed that "Waiting On The World To Change" kinda sounds like a rip-off of Curtis Mayfield's soul classic "People Get Ready". It's not totally obvious, but there's a strong influence, IMO. I'm not too musically inclined, but it seems like the same chord progressions.

Still, it's not as blatent as Paul McCartney's "Anyway" from Chaos and Creation. That one is a carbon copy.

Anyway, that's my take. You be the judge.

I think you're crazy. It sounds more like the Mayfield song than the McCartney song, but somewhere along the line, you're mixing 'ripping off' with 'influenced by'.
