The entire country of Norway covers Prince

I found out about this a couple days ago after perusing one of the few Prince "fam" sites that are out there. I was curious to see what the current buzz was on how people feel about the stuff he's been doing lately.

It looks like they collected every musical act they could find in Norway and had them each cover a different song, and what resulted is a 5-cd set called "Shockadelica". It can be found here, along with previews of each and every song. Think Prince does some strange covers? See what you think of these. I'm honestly not shilling this or anything. I know there's some Prince fans here, and I wanted to see what other people think. A lot of them are pretty bad, IMO.

Any compilation of "Norway's greatest" that doesn't include a-ha is a joke.

what the hell is wrong with Prince? yes, he is a douchebag, but come on. The whole "ewww, Prince is a ***" thing is so high school. He's one of the greats and deserves respect

I'll give them props for including the Only Egil Band.
