That deal was posted a few days ago and is now dead.

Some of these deals are rather short lived. For example, the Dartanian deal I posted just last night is dead already.

Remember that the deals I post are just ones I find via searching. Only the deals mentioned in Dave's posts have anything like a definite time-frame for them.

Out of curiosity, since it's a rather high price for one of the DOTDs, I looked up the regular price for this on Amazon MP3, and according to Google's cache, this album usually sells for $14.99 on it, so it's about a 50% savings.

The Amazon MP3 page states that today's DOTD is Maiden Voyage by Herbie Hancock for $.99 . However, the price on that album page is not changed, so I believe this isnt actually the DOTD. We will see.

I agree 100%. I have downloaded several albums using the Amazon MP3 downloader and the sound quality is always quite good. And best of all, being a true MP3 file, iTunes 7.7.0.42 can burn a real CD from the music with excellent sound quality.
