Islands Announce New Album Tracklist, Tour

http://www.pitchforkmedia.com/articl...tracklist-tour

No band is an island, but that doesn't exclude the plural. Like the strength in numbers implied by their name, Islands will bring people together throughout North America on tour this spring and summer.

Nick Thorburn and co. are out on the road in support of the band's forthcoming sophomore album, Arm's Way, out May 20 in North America via Anti-. That album now has a tracklist, including a song called "Pieces of You". Unfortunately, that title has been used before.

The album also has a cover, pictured above.

Wow.

Arm's Way:

01 The Arm
02 Pieces of You
03 J'aime Vous Voir Quitter
04 Abominable Snow
05 Creeper
06 Kids Don't Know Shit
07 Life In Jail
08 In the Rushes
09 We Swim
10 To a Bond
11 I Feel Evil Creeping In
12 Vertigo (If It's a Crime)

I'm planning on seeing them in Philly. I thought "Swans (Life After Death)" was one of 2006's best songs. I didn't think Return to the Sea was a masterpiece, but it had a couple of great songs on it beyond that track.
