Honestly I didn't really get into Bruce until 'The Rising' was released. I mean, I was aware of his music and knew all of the major hits, but had never really listened to many of his albums from beginning to end.
Anyway, when 'The Rising' got released it honestly blew me away, so purely for what it means to me I would have to go with 'The Rising'. That said, I'm really digging 'Radio Nowhere' also.
I'm actually going to see Bruce & The E Street Band in April at the Greensboro Coliseum and really can't wait!!!

Not a bad encore last night, with Backstreets/Kitty's Back, eh?

Good choice, but I'm going to have to go with Born in the USA.
I've always liked My Hometown a lot too.

Born To Run is on my all time top 3 songs, so that was an easy choice for me. I remember the first time I heard it -- I was maybe 15, I had borrowed the album (on tape) from the library after enjoying the Born in the USA album. That first track just blew me away, I just sat there slack-jawed and blown away. He's made a lot of great songs (and I would have included Atlantic City on that list), but Born To Run is extra special IMO.

I didn't vote.
I never understood the popularity of BS. I can't stand his music. Admittedly, I liked a song or two off one album back in the 80s when I was a teen before I realized there was music other than poop I mean pop.
I'd rather go to an all day insurance seminar than listen to one BS album.

There are so many I love...my friends look at me like I'm from Pluto or something because I like Springsteen...oh well...
from Born to Run: Thunder Road
from Darkness on the Edge of Town: Factory
from The River: The Price You Pay (tough one, since it was a double-album)
from Born in the U.S.A.: Workin' On The Highway
from Live 1975-1985: The Promised Land
from Tunnel of Love: When You're Alone (you ain't nuthin' but alone...)
Guess you can kinda tell which albums I consider significant in my life.
I really love Cadallic Ranch, both studio ("The River") and live ("1975-1985), as well.

Longtime Springsteen fan. I prefer his earlier stuff, so I voted for Born To Run but another one of my faves is Billie Jean from Born in the USA which was the Bosses touching tribute to his guitarist Gus Van Sant.
