Wow.... "R30 Anniversary" being shown on VH1's "Classic in Concert" show as I type this.

Ugh. That looks like shit. The cuts are way too quick. I hate when they superimpose the background videos onto the shots. Also, there are quite a few shots where audience heads pass in front of the camera and obscure the picture. Not the normal concert video stuff where you can see a little bit of the fans heads at the bottom of the screen, but instead it blocks the whole screen.

Amazon is listing the Snakes and Arrows Blu Ray for $21.95. It was $20.99 yesterday. Jumped on it. Maybe price mistake?

i'm down for the blu ray, the audio should be fantastic.

Might finally be time to break down and get a blu-ray player.

I thought the video looked pretty good. The only thing I really didn't like were the fast zooms, but there were only a few in the beginning. I can live without the sillouetted heads too, but it's not the end of the world. I do like the crane shots that show the whole stage. It just looks more dynamic than the R30 show, which I always thought was kinda boring to watch on DVD (even though it was great live).

The DVD was moved up and came out today. $12.99 at CC and $14.99 at BB.

ARRRRRGGGHHHHH!!!!!!!!

I ordered from Amazon to save a couple bucks and now CC is cheaper than what I got it for... not to mention I have to wait until it gets here!

Of course, if history holds, CC would only have a copy or 2, if any, in the store, so you would have to PM at BB. The BB I went to had a ton of copies.

The concert is awesome but the SD case sucks. My third disc was scratched to hell. My Blu-Ray version was perfect since it actually has a disc holder rather than a pocket. I'm looking forward to going home and checking out the Blu-Ray.

I've seen Rush probably 4 times before and can't wait to get it in the mail from Deep Discount (blu ray of course!).

I think they're awesome and worth having this show in both SD (for travel and showing to friends) and Blu-Ray for home and kicking some audio ass.

Amazon has it for the CC price of $12.99.

You could always buy and watch now then return on arrival.
