Dillinger Escape Plan on Conan

I bet all who listen to this currently and like the song will be in for a huge shock when they discover most of their songs are super fast math metal screamo songs.

Oh and i love this song too. (black bubblegum track 3 off of ire works)
edit: Here's the song they did
<object width="425" height="355"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/rD0_FmrHlJg&rel=1"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/rD0_FmrHlJg&rel=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="355"></embed></object>
if anyone posts it on youtube, i'll post it herre.

a great energetic performance too. I liked seeing Conan pull out a glow in the dark stick while the singer was singing on his desk.

This is what their live shows are normally like

Their current video single that gets headbangers ball play

So are they still rolling dice to select the time signatures for their songs?

I kinda like the slower songs -- a bit more groove to them.

I was shocked to see them on there. Lively performance, although I'm not sure the song they went with really gives a fair idea of what type of sound they generally come to play with. Although, to be fair, "Ire Works" relies less on a hardcore sound, opting to incorporate a selection of various instrumentation instead. I dig it.

DEP can be completely unhinged, radical stuff. I'm kind of surprised to see them on Letterman. Then again, he had Mars Volta on as well which isn't exactly readily accessible. I guess I'll be truly shocked if he ever has Meshuggah on.
That would be

I don't really like that song, but thought their performance was thoroughly entertaining

I saw them on Conan; first I'd ever heard of them.
Gotta give them a

"Shed" would probably be Meshuggah's best bet for Conan or Letterman...

Conan had Lamb of God on his show last year, and thats prob as far from mainstream as they come.
Oh and here's the performance.

The patton stuff was ok, miss machine had a few good tracks. I don't think I'd ever buy Ire Works based on that songs. It's just horrible. It isn't even good for what it is trying to be. And it looks like they are down to what, one original member now?

They wrote there best song 10 years ago.

I thought Ire Works was a huge letdown.

I never could get into this band. I tried, spent a lot of money on their albums, and then sold them all.
