Hey does anyone remember that song from American Idol - I'll Stand By You sung by Carrie Underwood? Why did they remove it from iTunes?

I can understand The Pretenders having a problem with it if they sold it for profit, but they sold it for charity... so I don't quite get the issue. People cover songs (and sell that cover) all the time - of course I suppose they have permission. I don't know if that's the case here though.
