sublime..anyone into them?

im a huge fan. not really that big into the self titled cd (though i do like it) but everything else is great. to me they were a great party band with lyrics that i could relate to when i was in the partying lifestyle. plus brad had an amazing voice.

Yeah. Was a big, big fan of 40 Oz. to Freedom back in the day. Wasn't as big of a fan when the self-titled came out. They turned into some kind of frat band, judging from their fans. The music was pretty much the same though. Weird.

I like Brad's voice and they have a few good songs. I don't really care for the alcohol and drug lyrics though.

Just the other day I was thinking how time has flown by when I realized that 40 Oz. came out in 1992! Damn, doesn't feel that long ago.

I like them, but it's shame about all those bad mortgages they gave out.

my fav band of all time (alon with millions of other californians)

40 oz is the best, and slf-titled and second hand smoke right behind it. check out their 4 disc box set that came out about a year ago

the name sounds vaguely familiar, but I wouldn't be able to name one song of theirs. so I guess not.

I used to like them a bit. It was an easy disc to throw on at a party. I haven't listened to them in years, though.

The self-titled is really the only one I've ever enjoyed, and even then I only like about half the songs.

Thinking of picking the Sublime Gold CD up. That thing has around 40 tracks.
