Ashes Divide...new Billy Howerdel (A Perfect Circle) project

Sorry if this is a duplicate - I couldn't find a thread about it.

This is the first I heard of the project. I love love love APC, so naturally I am very much looking forward to this.

Per the Blabbermouth link, Josh Freese is playing drums on the recording, and Maynard James Keenan's son Devo(!!!) plays a cello part.

Clips sound very promising.

they sound great so far! I loved hearing the original APC demos with Billy singing so I knew I would dig this.

He's got a good voice. Doesn't sound generic. I love how he layers instruments too.

Sounds good. I love Billy's guitar work on APC.

Well this came out this week. Surprised no one's commented.

It's pretty good, but not as good as APC. It is very similar to APC, and Billy seems to be going for MJK type vocals most of the time as wel..

Gotta give it a few more listens, but so far track 3 and track 9 are the strongest ones.

Amazon and Target both have this for 7.99 for those interested.

I like it but, not as good as APC. I was hoping for a few more hard/faster songs like Judith from APC.

decent album for sure, I too was hoping for some more crunch like APC but overall a decent safe debut from Billy.

Seems OK but 'The Stone' is EASILY the best song on here...the rest kind of pales in comparison. Maybe it will grow on me with more listens.

I'm finding I have "Forever Can Be" stuck in my head.
