I've only gone to one Shoreline show [Arcade Fire/LCD Soundsystem/Wild Light] and was in the front row, and loved it. No complaints here.

Might go again for RH. Not sure if there are any hostals around there though.

The only place worse to see a concert at than Dodger Stadium is the Rose Bowl.
But worse than that, as good as they are live, Radiohead's just not a stadium band - and most of their songs (especially the ones from the last few albums) are just not stadium songs.

I guess being a fan of Radiohead's is de rigeure more than ever...

Well, if I can get close seats, I'll go. When I saw them in Columbia I was in the 11th row.

I'd rather pay $100 and be close than pay $50 and not be close at all.

Just lost interest. There are very few bands I would pay to see in that environment and while I love Radiohead, I just can't get pumped about the potential of seeing them at Dodger Stadium.

I am at that point in my concert-going life also. If I can't get good tix, I would rather stay home.

How is Phillips Arena to see a show? That may be the best shot I have.

A lot of those dates and venues are unlikely. Among other problems with the list, they are supposed to play 4 cities in California and there are only 3 listed, there's no St Louis, and the Montreal show has been reported to be sometime in August in the Canadian press.

On the other hand, if you are in London, Radiohead is doing an in-store performance today. There will be a webcast...

Yeah, I'm not buying that list...

The Lawn @ White River / Indianapolis has room for ~ 6000 to 7500. That is not in keeping with the other venues that are mentioned. Deer Creek Verizon Wireless would be more likely... I would think.

Also, yeah, where is St. Louis?

I have a hard time believing that Radiohead could play two shows at Giants Stadium, which holds 70,000. Its more than likely the IZOD Center across the road. That holds a more reasonable 18,000

I agree with what everybody is saying about the list.I can't see them playing at the American Airlines Center in Dallas.Depending on stage configeration and the type of floor seating it can hold almost 20,000.I just don't see them as playing a "U2" type of big arena tour. It's just not them.

Also, isn't there a fairly good chance that the Mavericks or Stars could be playing a home playoff game in the AAC that night (May 9)?

Oh man, I hope a Saturday show at the Gorge happens.

I think I could die happy after that.

There is a Dallas Desperados game that Saturday night May 10.I think how that works is that they work playoff games around the AAC Events Calendar.

Radiohead, NIN to Top Lollapalooza 2008 Bill?

Lollapalooza 2008 hits Chicago's Grant Park August 1-3, and it's looking like this year's fest has gone to the gloomy and the angry. A report on Chicago Tribune music critic Greg Kot's blog Turn It Up indicates that frequently unnerved Radiohead and perennially angsty Nine Inch Nails will be the guests of honor at Perry Farrell's next party.

According to Kot, "industry sources have confirmed that Radiohead has been booked as the centerpiece of the festival," not terribly surprising given all of Thom Yorke and company's other planned festival activity. Radiohead and Nine Inch Nails will occupy two of the fest's three nightly headlining spots, and it's doubtful anyone will bat an eyelash if Jack Johnson winds up with the third one.
