I'm familiar with Josh Ritter and the comparisons to Springsteen (minus the E Street band sound) are pretty apt. He's one of the few recent artists that I'm very sure will have strong staying power in the future.

Somebody needs to kill T-Pain's voicebox and his flow of dollar bills so he can stop loving strippers.

Outside of Josh Ritter, who I already know of and like, the Justice song and the New Buffalo song are the only ones that I played for longer than 10 seconds...

I agree with Giles when he said "meh".

I love Josh Ritter. Justice is pretty good, and D.A.N.C.E. might be my favorite video ever.

I'm a huge Ritter fan, but the other artists that I know of on this list, I don't like at all.

Only one I've heard of was Josh Ritter, but unlike others in this thread I couldn't stand him (saw him open for an act a few years ago, and it was dreadful) maybe his CD is better, but his show was bad.
