U2--Numb. Hate that song.
The Police--Every Breath You Take (the dark edge I always loved about the Police is there in the lyrics, but not in music in this one, IMO)
The Jam---A Town Called Malice. I have a grudge against this song, because for years this was the only Jam song I ever heard on US radio, and I never liked it---and as such it delayed my exploration of the Jam, one of the greatest bands of all time.
Regarding Nirvana's Come as You Are---That WAS a total ripoff (conscious or not) of Killing Joke's "Eighties"---it's not just the riff, it's the same chorus, reverb and distortion effects on the guitar sound. I guess they all made up though, Grohl played drums for Killing Joke on their album a couple years ago.

It's more than likely Cobain ripped it off (consciously or subconsciously) from the Damned song rather than the Killing Joke song. The Damned were more popular.

Radiohead - Creep
(I've hated this song since the first time I heard it, in fact, due to this song, I had a grudge towards Radiohead, and didn't give The Bends a fair shake when it first came out)
Lynyrd Skynyrd - Sweet Home AL
(this was annoying even before they used it for KFC)
Iron Maiden - Iron Maiden
(it's too bad that the song baring their name is their most boring one)
T.Rex - Bang a Gong
(way WAY over-played)
pre-'76 Stones - It's Only Rock&Roll
(shut the fuck up, Mick!)
Muse - Supermassive Black Hole
(bad glam impression)
Beatles - Octopus's Garden
(or anything sung by Ringo)
Led Zeppelin - D'yer Maker
(every time I hear this, I wanna punch Robert Plant right in the cock)
Spoon - Infinite Pet
(way too repetitive, and never goes anywhere)
Bon Scott era AC/DC - Big Balls
(pretty cool when I was seven, not so much now)
Queen - Radio GaGa
(what the fuck guys? actually, anything from Queen after The Game sucks)
Blur - Girls & Boys
(one of the most annoying songs ever recorded - EVER!)
The Who - Squeeze Box
(it goes in and out and in and out... my ASS!!!)

Sounds like a lot of people are just sick of one song that is/was really overplayed. Not that they're necessarily bad songs, they're just sick of them.
I can sympathize with that. I was an REM fan until "Losing My Religion".

Rammstein - Los. I love them but they should never have tried to write a hard acoustic song. It just didn't work.
Metallica- anything post-Black album, and some Black album. It just hurts me too much to think they're the same band that wrote Master of Puppets.
