Looks like this album will be called:
Weezer: Weezer [The Red Album]
hehe....hope it's more blue than green (although I'll take anything over Make Believe)

amazon has removed the clip. i assume because everyone in the various weezer forums keep playing it incessantly.
here is direct link to the mp3.
and here is a link to (drummer) patrick wilson's twitter thingy, which sometimes mentions album 6 stuff.
edit: full song has started to air on some radio stations. a radio rip of it is floating around out there too.

Does the volume fluctuate on this file for anyone else or is it just me? Sounds great either way...I love the 'blue album' like chorus, but think the verses are a bit more 'green'... still, great to have Weezer back!

Legal from "weerez" a site in no way affiliated with the band?
So the initial album six stuff is debunked as a rumor and now suddenly there's a single? Sounds like there's some news missing somewhere.

What was debunked as rumour? All I know is that June 24th the RED album comes out and WEEZER ARE BACK! (and yeah, that download doesn't seem that official - that site must have made an MP3 from the stream on the front page of weezer.com)

I thought that the Pork and Beans mp3 floating around was a rip from a radio station. As far as rumors being debunked, maybe he is referring to the albumsix.com hoax as well as the fake "Tout Ensemble" title and artwork that was mentioned a few months back.

It was bugging me but the opening section sounded vaguely familiar to me...am I the only one who thinks it sounds kind of like 'Get In Line' by Barenaked Ladies? Not like exactly or anything, but certainly kind of similar.

Wouldn't surprise me, and it wouldn't be the first time.......one of their songs sounded like The Locomotion. Rivers sang: "so jump up, jump back, do you love me?"
The song was good until that weak chorus. Hopefully he didn't do that again.
