But they were hot so that's all the crowd cared about. I'm glad they have fans that are anxious to see them again. Like I mentioned before, their music is incredibly dated. They really should try their hand at something new.

I saw them when they opened for Lisa Lisa and Cult Jam here in DC. LOL Let Me Be the One is still one of my favorite songs.

Wait.......Constitution Hall?? If so, that may have been it. Don't know what other show or festival I was thinking about.

I have all 4 of these somewhere but haven't listened to them in over 10 years.

Let Me Be the One is my favorite song by them also.

Looks like Gioia Bruno changed her image somewhat.

And here I was hoping you'd pop in and make an appearance to set me straight on whether 8 songs in the top 10 back in the 80s was an achievement or not...

Who, me? Of course 8 top 10 songs is a huge achievement. I'm sure these women made a shitload of money. I just hope they invested it properly. But, remember, Debbie Gibson also had several top 10 songs too. We're talking quantity and not quality here though....right?

Whoever posted that new pic of Gioia. Very nice! She was always the hot one in the group. I had no idea she left because she was ill. The other brunette did and still looks like America Ferrera. And the blonde, Debbie Boone. IMO.

Who's going to be their opening act? Stacy Q? Tamara and the Seen? Taylor Dane? Debbie Gibson?

That would be a dream come true. Seriously! One of the best concerts I ever saw was George Michael during his Faith tour.

As for Expose, I used to like them. Not really interested in seeing them tour. Though if they were to record a new album I'd certainly check it out.

people are way too harsh on Expose. I mean, there were a few amazing bands in the 1980's, such as U2, The Police, Depeche Mode, The Pretenders and others. There were others who didn't change the landscape of popular music but had some catchy songs. This is totally Expose. "Point Of No Return", "Come Go With Me", "What You Don't Know", "Extra Extra", "Let Me Be The One", "Exposed To Love" certainly aren't "Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds" or "Space Oddity", but for what they were, late 1980's dance-pop songs, they delivered in spades, and I still enjoy their debut album 20 years later. Granted, compared to 1987 efforts by U2, Prince, The Cure and Depeche Mode, it comes up short, but it was still a great little dance-pop album.

Me, I could care less..

WOW! I forgot all about Tamara and the Scene! Time for me to go through my 12" vinyls!
