Okay, how many of you have heard the song Fish Heads and know the famous half of the duo who recorded it?

Heard it. I think it was on MTV for something a long time ago. Maybe during liquid television?

"fish heads, fish heads. Roly poly fish heads. Fish heads, fish heads. Eat them up, yum.
I took a fish head out to see a movie, didn't have to pay to get him in."

Thank you Dr. Demento and the OP for sticking this song in my head for the rest of the day.

Yeah, most of you are too young. But I'll bet you'll never see fish heads drinking cappuccino in Italian restaurants with oriental women.

I have an album by them, a greatet hits or something.

Before my time, but an older co-worker (whom I worked at a music store) with put it on a mix for me. I remember thinking WTF?

Love it now, especially for that "Oriental women are never seen...." line.

I remember Fish Heads.

Back in the 80's there were quite a few AWESOME Late ight video shows. They featured videos you would NEVER EVER see on MTV like Fish Heads and videos by The Residents and others obscure artists.

While I've always known and loved that tune, I still don't know who Bill Mumy is without looking up the info.

Who he is now is irrelevant. Apparently, his lineage is traced back to a recently discovered mummy that scientists affectionately referred to as Bill.

Always been one of my favorites.

On a similar note, I heard Detachable Penis a week or two ago on Sirius. I had completely forgotten about that song.
