Rumor has it David 'Weave' Roth will re-enact his K-Rock morning show during the 1st encore.

Wonder if Eddie's going to find some groupies for Wolfie?

Also, I heard that Michael Anthony is going to tour with Sammy Hagar and Liberty DeVito this summer. The tour will be called 'My Rat-bastard Bosses Kicked Me out of Their Band' tour.

FYI : My 14 year old nephew is now touring with the revamped 'Styx'.

OK. I'm done.

LiveNation? Is that the mobile recording business that sells CDs of the concert right after the show? I hope so!

Just when you think this couldn't be more of a trainwreck....
http://www.van-halen.com/tour.html

Look at the cover of the first album--bottom right corner...looks like something's changed. And Women and Children First seems to look a little different too.

Appalling.

Wow, just wow.

Is that another pic of Eddie, or is that Wolfie?

Hard to tell but it's definitely not the pic of Mike that's on my copy.

WTF?

Is Eddie going all Sharon Osbourne on us?

Are they going to reissue the albums with Wolfgang re-recording all of Michael Anthony's parts?

I checked ENTERTAINMENT TONITE & ACCESS HOLLYWOOD on Monday and they didn't show the press con. they were supposed to have.
I heard on the radio they were going to carry it live, but I didn't get a chance to hear it.
Anybody know what was said about M. Anthony?

That's unbelievable, I for one would have rather had them tour with Michael but I think having Wolfie in the band is the only chance well have of this not turning into a complete trainwreck because I can't see Eddie wanting to dissapoint his son by cancelling the tour before it even starts.

I love VH, but this is just wrong. I would rather spend my money on a Sammy and Michael concert.

I know this will never ever ever ever happen, but I personally wouldn't mind VH going the Yes/Anthrax route and touring with David AND Sammy. I do prefer DLR but they still had a lot of great music with Sammy.

I just hope that this tour doesn't have the same fallout with Eddie and Roth that befell the 2004 tour with Hagar. I am hoping that with Eddie being clean and sober, and with Roth seeming like he's matured and mellowed a bit in recent years, thatall the drama between them can finally be over.

The issue is probably getting the Verizon center and competing against the Wiz, Caps, and World of Ice.

WaCF is still a generic cover, but they apparently corrected the first album. You can clearly see it's Anthony now.

I'm really looking forward to this, since I never got to see them in the Roth years. I've seen them several times with Anthony during the Hagar years, so this isn't going to be that big a deal for me, as long as it's going to be as good as they're making it sound.

The Anthrax Joey/John thing never actually happened though, did it? I thought Joey wanted too much money at the time for the dual singer thing to work.

Now they've got WaCF corrected on the website to show the cover including Anthony. Must have just been something they were toying with...although it's interesting to notice that they don't have any Hagar-era albums pictured.

I think it's clear that page is meant to be just for the tour, and I don't think you could ever pay DLR enough money to sing any of the Sammy songs. Apparently, Wolfgang picked the setlist for the tour, so here's hoping it includes some of their cooler, more obscure songs.
