Fair enough. I didn't want to do that to an existing thread I hadn't started, but assuming no one, especially Giles, has a problem, perhaps a friendly mod can merge this thread into the existing Spending Tab thread, and possibly rename it '2007 purchases and discussion thread' or something of that nature.

that's why I try to update the page every Monday or Tuesday, when I place orders for UK music - which for the most part is weekly. I asked last year, when I started the 2006 spending tab to be a sticky, it briefly was, but was decided somehow it wasn't worthy of being a sticky - I don't see any problems with people making comments in the actual spending tab thread about purchases, I'm all for it

as for the Wedding Present CD wendersfan, as I noted it's on pre-order from Amazon.com as an import - it's getting released next Monday, Amazon says it will have the disc instock as of the 29th... so sorry I can't comment on it, yet. I'm not sure why there hasn't been an announcement for a domestic release. The current price over at Amazon.com is 77 bucks, which is excessive considering at the current (bad) rate from ordering from Amazon.co.uk directly would cost around 60 dollars (including p/h).

Actually, to add another perspective on the Arctic Monkeys at Indio, CA, a lot of people weren't that impressed. I thought they were okay, but nothing to write on the internets about how amazing it was. Then again, I need to catch another set to be sure. I was standing there to see INTERPOL. It just sounded to me that they were playing the same thing, over and over and over. Also, I wasn't too engaged by their on-stage immaturity.
