Kim Wilde's 2006 Re-recordings Album
Her new album has rerecordings of such classics as Kids in America, Cambodia and You keep me hanging on. But my favourite on the album is the rerecording of her 1988 so so hit 'you came'.

Just saw the music video for this song. Kim's obviously getting on in age, she still looks ok, a lot of make up required now though.

OK!?? She looks AMAZING! The older she gets she reminds me of another Kim (Basinger).

Here's the video. I like how she's made the song slightly rockier. Has this album been released?

I totally agree. I've been a fan since the mid '80s and Kim gets better looking as she ages.


Thanks for the tip on the new album, I hadn't heard about it. "You Came" is one of my favorites of hers.

OK, I'm listening to this now. Great stuff! Nice job on the reworkings. And it's great to hear Nena on a couple of the tracks.

Okay, I just listened to this and it's awful. Totally unnecessary reworkings. Half the songs sound like Christian dance pop circa 1998. Yuck. To the old recordings I go.
