A buddy and I always get a kick out of laughing at death metal band names and song titles, so we decided to come up with a few of our own. It's pretty darn easy as there are only about 50 key words that make up most of them (pestilence, gloom, impalement, etc.). Here is our first album:

Those titles are decent, I guess, but there's too much corpse eating, and not enough Christ-hating. There's more to death metal then Cannible Corpse, you know!

We discussed this and decided we weren't as much a Christ-hating band as we were a bodily gore consumption band, so naturally our songs will reflect that.

Carcass' Symphonies of Sickness is an awesome album, with some great titles. It's easy to come up with gore filled titles... it's alot tougher to write 4-5 minutes worth of lyrics that can live up to those titles.

One of my all time fav (non-gore) titles is At the Gates' Raped by the Light of Christ. Now that's blasphemous!
