I hear some people there talking about swapacd.com. Anyone moved from LaLa to there, and what's the experience been like?

Nope, I've moved to Musicboomerang.com. It's a great site. I think it's made by pissed off lala traders. So far I've got some great CDs there. It's in a very early stage but looks promising. I'm still at lala too, but I think musicboomerang will end up being my main focus. Since I joined it, I've traded more there. They are sort of staggering in groups of people (so it doesn't get too big before they are fully going), but sign up and email them and you may get right in. If you were on lala, let them know who you were. See you there.
I think I'll post some of this in another thread to bring attention to this option. |
I log in every few months, but the trading aspect doesn't seem to be getting better. Unless something changes with new people trading, I'll give up on the site pretty soon.

Re: LaLa.com: CD swapping dirt cheap [part two]
I went to Lala for the first time in months today. Trading is no longer available. I think a had a few credits that I apparantly get nothing for. Dicks.

Re: LaLa.com: CD swapping dirt cheap [part two]
I gave up on the site around the last time I posted here. I didn't realize it had been a year already. It was a good run, and I scored some pretty sweet tunes. Luckily, I went out in the positive, so I didn't lose any money.

Yep, www.musicboomerang.com is the best place to go now.

I started using Swaptree.com a few weeks ago. I like that I can trade CDs, books, DVDs and games all in the same place. Only made a few trades, but so far so good.
