Yes but, honestly, is rock so overflowing with horns that there needs to be a distinction? One or ten doesn't matter to me, it already sets them apart from 99% of the music out there.

My def of horn section... at least 3 guys... and they must dance and twirl there horns when playing live! Oh yeah.. wear baggy pants and big hats!!

Still doesn't cut it. A "Horn Section" is usually defined by at least 3 or more people playing different wind instruments - generally different saxes (tenor, alto, barritone), trumpet, trombone or yes, even tuba. And that's aside from the traditional guitar, bass, drums, keyboards.

Bright Eyes, on "Lifted, Or the Story is in the Soil, Keep Your Ear to the Ground." He took a huge band on that tour. It was boss.

Humm er.. they were in the OP. That was my reference band, I love Southside and was looking for other bands like them.

When we saw the Violent Femmes in May they had a 5-6 man horn section (Horns of Dilemma I believe was their moniker), and they also had a local CHI harmonica player sit in for a few songs.
