Question: what's the deal with the double disc 'live' album that slated to come out next week. Anyone know what difference there is between the International Version and the German Edition of the album? At one point there was mention that a hybrid SACD edition of the album would come out, it look likes it has been dropped or has it?

I also did further research into this and it also looks like that there's an extra song, that's not on the international version of the album

- "Abzug" track 3 on the second disc.

Kraftwerk "Minimum-Maximum" the multiple versions

I was surprised to note that doing a search of Kraftwerk and specifically their 'live' album: Minimum-Maximum I really didn't come up with what I was expecting - for fans though there's quite a few versions of the album that have become available (domestically and as imports):

the standard 2-Disc release:

a German import with all the songs in German

a DVD video performance recording (in 5.1 Dolby/DTS surround sound)

a Box Set

The Limited Edition "LAPTOP BOXSET VERSION" includes 2 CDs, 2 DVDs and an 88-page full color hardback book featuring a stunning array of never before seen live photos and on-stage technical data. Boxset packaging mirrors the design of a laptop with a special lenticular image inside the lid. PCM Stereo and DTS 5.1 audio.

an import SuperAudio CD version that just got released (June 2006) (5.1 surround sound)

Would a live dvd from these guys really be worth it? From what I've seen, they just stand there doing next to nothing for an hour.

Good music, though. I do have a dvd that interviews one of the members, discussing how he got started. That was fairly interesting.
