Favorite Miles Davis album/track
He would have been 80 today.
I'll go with either Cookin' or Relaxin' (since everyone else will pick Kind of Blue), and "If I Were a Bell" from Relaxin'.

Although I've only put a small dent (4 albums) into his catalog, I'd have to pick Workin'. Based on that one, I've been curious about his other Quintet albums. One day I'll pick them up.
(Doo-Bop being my least favorite that I've heard)

The only album I have is The Essential Miles Davis. Judging from my ratings, it looks like Compulsion is my favorite.
I don't really know any of them by name, though.

Kind of Blue is a special album for me cause it turned me on to Jazz but my favorite MD album has to be Electric Shout. As for an individual track, I'll take Funky Tonk from Live Evil.
Hendrix died a week before he was scheduled to go into the studio with Miles Davis to record some music. I've got a lot of boots with "Jazzy" Hendrix and it's great stuff. If those two had played together it would have been amazing.
