Has anyone used cmpass.com to fund their Allofmp3 accounts? I used to use Xrost, but that page says to use cmpass.com now. I am assuming that Allofmp3 accepts it, but not positive. Also, anytime I tried to actually fund my account at cmpass, I was told that they were over their daily limits.

Anyone actually use cmpass, and if so, does Allofmp3 accept it?

I tried to add money to my balance, but I entered my expiration date wrong----twice. So even though the site "rejected" the charge, I was charged. I was charged but didn't get any kind of confirmation or additional money in my balance.

I guess that's karma.

How did you try to add money? I asked earlier on the top of the page how people are funding now, but I was ignored

After hitting refill balance, it offers you an option of paying by credit/debit or XROST or whatever. I hit credit/debit.

I left a comment on their "assistance" page. I haven't heard back from them yet.

I was worried about funding my account through them, but I guess it is the only alternative now.

I used them. Loaded up using their website, with no issues, as far as I can see so far. Their downloads are a lot slower than they used to be, but no issues getting the songs.

Just don't enter the wrong expiration date. It'll go through but you'll still get the shaft.

A few times the Paypal link has been down and I haven't checked since the whole site came back up. But, yes, they take Paypal (it's all I've ever used there).

I guess I need to take that back.

I just checked yesterday and they don't seem to take Paypal anymore.

Sorry, Struz.

I didn't think that they have been able to take PayPal for years directly. I read in a different forum that Paypal blocked payments to them because of complaints of copyright infringement. What a lot of people did was use PayPal to buy a gift card at Xrost, which AllofMP3 accepted. It was just a workaround. As I posted earier though, xrost now apears to be cmpass, which always says that their daily limit has been reached. I am assuming that Allofmp3 would accept this as payment but I am not sure. I just funded recently with my credit card with no issues so far.

is it safe to use your credit card with them? with all the shady nature of this, plus you hear all the crazy stories about fraud and russian mafia, etc., i'd would have loved to use paypal or the cmpass xrost workaround...

how fast are the downloads? how long to get a song usually?

i'm not sure if that still answers the question, can we get in trouble for buying from them?
