Top FIVE Greatest Videos with CAMEO appearances

...and no, I don't mean the group Cameo appearing in other group's music videos.

1) Ghostbusters (1984) - SNL cast, various others
2) Don't Worry, Be Happy (1988) - Robin Williams
3) You Can Call Me Al (1987) - Chevy Chase
4) We Are The World (1985) - everybody famous
5) Round & Round (1984) - Milton Burle

Can We Are the World really be considered a cameo when most, if not all, of the artists present in the video sang on the record?

I can only think of one...

Slyde - Cameo

Yes. And Jennifer Love Hewitt was also in "Hero".

Heh. Rereading that, I imagine her fighting Jet Li and Donnie Yen...

Can you really call Chevy's appearance in Paul Simon's video a cameo, since he was in the entire video, from beginning to end?

Beastie Boys: "Fight For Your Right To Party" has Kerry King in it.

I heard rumors that Tom Araya's in Suicidal Tendencies "Institutionalized" walking down the street. Looks like him...

Wesley Snipes in Michael Jackson's Bad .

I believe the woman who drops her car off for Sprigsteen the mechanic to fix in Tunnel of Love is a famous actress but her face is never shown.

Wasn't Jerry Mathers (the Beaver) in Dr. Dre's "Dre Day?" It looked like him, but I don't know.

Walken was in the "weapons of destruction" video, I think the celebrity filled video is "we are made of stars" or something to that effect

I like the cameo's in Weird Al videos....

Dick Van Patten in "Smells Like Nirvana" and "Bedrock Anthem",
Florence Henderson in "Amish Paradise",
and Drew Carey in "It's All About the Pentiums" - just to name a few.

Others I dig -

Leonard Nimoy in the Bangles "Going Down To Liverpool" (not really a cameo since he's in the whole video, but I wanted to mention it)

Rodney Dangerfield in Billy Joel's "Tell Her About It".

Al Molinaro in Weezer's "Buddy Holly" (the whole damn video rocked).

Al, himself, has a pretty nice blink-&-you-miss-it cameo in Jon Spencer Blues Explosion's "Wail" video - though he directed it so his hands are all over it. Great, great video.

& not cameos, but the Blues Explosion's video for "Talk About The Blues" stars Winona Ryder, Giovanni Ribisi, & John C. Reilly AS the band. http://youtube.com/watch?v=J_9ulqq0P...es%20explosion

I like Bo Diddley's appearance in George Thorogood's "Bad to the Bone"
