According to online retailer amazon.com, "I'm Going to Tell You a Secret", the documentary movie directed by Jonas Akerlund about Madonna's re-Invention tour will be released as a Region1 DVD on June 6, 2006, perfectly timed with the kick off of the North American leg of her 2006 "Confessions Tour".

Also available on the same day, a new CD...but no idea what the CD will be. Very possible that this might be a CD/DVD set.

Just got a ticket for NYC...opening night. Spent the $370 for it. Seems like the bitch...errrr...queen of pop has pushed back the top tier tickets so that they take up not only the floor but also the next section above the floor as well. This is going to be an expensive tour. Looking to get another 2 tickets tomorrow.

CT x 1 = $350
NYC x 1 = $364
NYC x 2 = $338
That's without ticketmaster fees. Plus i'm going to CA to see her at Coachella at the end of the month.
I'm glad I don't really like a lot of artists enough to see them live...and everyone else is nicely priced.

Let me know when you're in NYC. Did you get tickets already?

yeah i havent bought any tickets for any of the shows yet... the only one i even tried was Montreal, but admission.com is horrible.
i usually buy my ticket the day of or the day before the show and have had great luck with that (landed 2nd row floors during RIT)
ill let you know the exact dates im coming to nyc... the july 18 show looks appealing b/c my summer classes will be over at that time (plus its not so close to chicago and montreal)... and i could just go there from the atlantic city show.

My friend and I have decided to see Madonna when she comes to Chicago. So what's the best way to get tickets? Are there a lot of scalpers, do they usually release more later? What are the chances of her coming to Michigan and they just haven't annouced it yet?
Also, out of curiosity, what is a Madonna concert like if you're up close? I can imagine a lot of annoying people, or it could be A LIFE CHANGING EVENT.
Student loans can wait...

She's not adding any locations. Like NYC, she may add dates but I seriously doubt she's going to add locations. There aren't many gaps left that she could do something like that.
If you haven't gotten tickets yet, I would either try the auction or pay extra close attention to Ticketmaster. Sometimes they release tickets that weren't used for promotional things. Otherwise, you're shit outta luck. You have to jump on these things.

i'm not a huge madonna fan, but she's definitely someone i'd want to see live at least once. could have had floor seats for hartford the other morning, but couldn't justify the ungodly ticket price.. i mean, i know poor madonna needs to put food on the table and all, but i'm afraid that's something i can't help her with.
sucks too, cause i would really like to see her.. oh well..

My sister said the same thing. She'd really like to see her live but these tickets aren't going to get any cheaper. They're only going to go up.

I just got floor tickets for her sunday show in Chicago. 10th row, right in front of the stage. I originally had tickets in section 102, but Ticketmaster was nice enough to cancel my order when I got these.
I haven't been this excited since I was born.

Me and the boy were able to score 5 rows from the stage opening night in NYC from the presale. Woo hoo! We would go one or two more times, but we are going to Greece for our 5 year anniversary, so gotta spend money elsewhere!

For those who can't make it...a rumor.
HBO is highly likely to be broadcasting a live show from the Confessions Tour - the tour date currently scheduled is Madonna's fifth night at Madison Square Garden on Tuesday 18 July.

I think i'd rather go to a taped show just for the fact that it's an entirely different atmosphere- not to mention you might get on tv.

You may be "manone" but don't fuck with the digitalfreak.
Besides, if you're a madonna fan you should know she only played 3 US cities on TGS which pissed off A LOT of fans.I'm getting my ticket to a 5th show tomorrow.
But that's it. I can't go to any more...especially if i'm considering HD-DVD.
