Well, this little game really lost some steam toward the end.
Congratulations to cdollaz!
As I said above, he was the first person to join the game and he stayed in it the longest. A very deserving collection.
I'd like to thank all the players for making this game a good time for everybody. I appreciate everyone's patience and I hope you all had a good time playing.
I would also like to thank everybody that came in and voted during the contest. It's nice to see some people who don't normally frequent the MusicTalk forum in here.
Special thanks to The Bus for his help and for all the great stats he came up with.
Also, special thanks to Mordred for helping me keep track of the voting.

Cool. First I'd like to give a shout out to my baby's mother....
This was a lot of fun. Thanks for putting this together Auto and for everyone else who did stats, etc.
Some good lists on here and it was interesting to see how/why people voted the way they did. It would be interesting to see how, if any, people changed their drafting strategy if there was a season 2. It would also be quite challenging as most of the obvious picks were taken this time. I get the feeling we would see more obscure stuff and guilty pleasures.

I went out in round 1, but at least it was to the eventual winner.
You have me to thank for London Calling because I was within a hair of taking it in round 1. It looks like you actually got some votes for Rush in the championship round.
Congrats to the champion.

Oops! I was having trouble deciding on Friday & forgot to come back & vote. They were pretty equal. Both lists had some big favorites as well as a few I don't like. Each list even contained someone I hate (Rush & Elton John).
NO, IT'S NOT!!! This was a big release back in 91 & is a tremendous collection. I hope that it making it this far in the game might encourage some younger people to check it out. I admit that I've never bought any other James Brown albums, but these 4 discs still get regular spins on my stereo.

An interesting choice. I love James Brown but an entire boxset of James Brown is a bit much.
