FROM NME:

Jack White's Coca-Cola ad leaks online

The much anticipated Jack White-penned Coca-Cola advert has leaked on the internet.

The White Stripes man has written and sings the advert's songs which boasts an uplifting, brass-led tune and the chorus: "It's the right thing to do, and you know it, It's inside of you, so just show it, love is the truth."

The clip itself kicks off with shots of a girl in an electric red wig and matching dress, skipping out of a red house, with a bottle of Coke in her hand.

She shares the drink with a white tracksuited man. He then passes on the beverage to a little boy who then passes it on to a hobo. Each person mentioned appears in multiple, just like the Michael Gondry-directed video for The White Stripes' 2003 single 'The Hardest Button To Button', where multiple shots of Jack and Meg appeared in time to the beat of the song.

The video ends with the girl smiling at the camera, a bird perched on her shoulder.

The ad is currently showing on
Youtube.com.

The star told NME.COM last year he'd composed the song to get a message of love out to the world.

He said at the time: "I've been offered the opportunity to write a song in a way which interests me as a songwriter. I certainly wouldn't want a song that I'd already written to be used on a commercial. That seems strange.

"But to be asked to write something particular along one theme of love in a worldwide form that I'm not really used to appealed to me. I've written a song and I wrote it really quickly and it's an interesting commercial that's been made. I was inspired by the commercial."

I thought it was actually pretty good. Is that Rob Zombie giving an umbrella to the old woman?

Yeah, another technically great yet horrible coke commercial. The song isn't all that great either.
