That's exactly what I was thinking.

I would also like Aphex Twin to pick something by say....Aphex Twin.

If your name is obviously influenced by a musician and you don't pick that musician you should be disqualified.

So far, jimdrix and Numanoid are OK.

yeah I actually didn't pick the Richard D. James album just in case Aphex Twin wanted it.

My Other 10 picks:
Round 11: Daniel Johnston "Hi, How are you?"
Round 12: Primal Scream "Screamadelica"
Round 13: The Cramps "Songs that the Lord Taught Us"
Round 14: Stevie Wonder "Innervisions"
Round 15: The Lounge Lizards "Lounge Lizards"
Round 16: Gang of Four "Entertainment"
Round 17: Brian Eno "Taking Tiger Mountain (by Strategy)"
Round 18: Tom Tom Club "Tom Tom Club"
Round 19: The Mummies "Never Been Caught"
Round 20: The Beat Happening "Crashing Through" (boxset, yeah I might get this one, even though I still think boxsets are for tools).
plus I have so much more that I would like to add so if kids pick up these during Round 10 or for the next matchup, that is cool.

Of the round ten picks, I had:
* The Minutemen album
* The Esquivel album
* The Jesus and Mary Chain album
* The Opeth album
...all on my list of potentials. The overlap is pretty amazing.

I guess all of us record nerds end up listening to exactly the same core of about 500 albums...

I wanted to go 20 rounds but the mods forbid it because your sig would have taken up too much bandwidth.

OK OK...My aim is to please.

Rd 10 - Aphex Twin: Richard D James Album

Thanks for saving this for me. I didn't choose any Aphex Twin albums because I wanted to see where they would fall in the game

Hooray, one of the music nerds has heard my album!

Here were the 8 albums remaining on my list (unranked) although I wouldn't have picked all of these due to the heavy rock weighting:

Derek and the Dominoes - Layla and Other Assorted Love Songs
Eagles - Hotel California
Thin Lizzy - Jail Break
Aerosmith - Rocks
Hendrix - Band of Gypsys
Cream - Disreali Gears
Black Sabbath - Paranoid
Beastie Boys - Licensed to Ill
UFO - Lights Out

This is enlightening. None of the picks that people are listing as their 11-20 correspond to my 11-20. Well, except for Pink Flag. That really should have gone this draft.
