Masterpieces in the Making : Britneys' new Songs
http://www.breatheheavy.com/
Britney has released three new songs celebrating her new DVD release of 'Chaotic'. The songs are :
1. Mona Lisa : A Highly spiritual, and affecting song about how people are not what they think they are - they are stronger. Beautiful melody and great chorus.
2. Over to you Now : Think Imogen Heap meets the Pet Shop Boys. An amazingly catchy track
3. Chaotic : The theme song to the show. Very catchy, not very lyrically stimulating - though the tune is somewhat appealing (I think)
Anyway, do give these a listen, and post your comments here. Its been confirmed that ALL THREE TRACKS will be included on Britneys' new album out at the end of the year.
This is highly exciting news for all fans as we did not expect to hear new material from Brit this soon.

Well I also was very happy to get these "new" tracks. I love this finalized Mona Lisa version, just as I also enjoy this finalized version of Chaotic! Over to You Now is amazing, and I love it.
And to all those people that feel the NEED to just come in here and put Britney down (and make fun of those that like her)...ya'll really should find something more productive to do...like masturbate or something. It's really annoying that everytime there is a Britney thread, people start to get all elitist and sarcastic. Just stay out of the effing thread if you don't have anything constructive to say.

People aren't thread crapping here b/c it's a Britney thread, but because it's like the 10th similar thread posted by this member.
He just trolls and posts threads like this as un-funny jokes and keeps doing it now b/c he knows it's annoying people.

Actually I don't. I just have very different tastes in music (no U2/Coldplay/Killers crap for me, thank you very much) and SOME people here appreciate it, thank heavens. I think 'trolling' is quite a philosophical concept really, only it appears to me that what I indulge in is genuinely interesting posts that all my fans have come to know and love. Not that I post them for effect though. I agree, some posts, like the Alyssa Milano thread have come under fire. But seriously, I OWN those albums and love them to death, so whats the point of dissing that.
I think the word 'trolling' is very deregatory and demeaning. One needs to address such concerns with suitably appropriate phrasing and language.
Thank you.

As for Britney's new songs...
I downloaded, I listened, I yawned. Typical, tired, mindless pop fare from a fading (if not already faded) pop princess.

You know what? I'm actually starting to enjoy Cottington. He seems to be taking the ribbing in good spirits, and I respect that.
