Lindsay Lohan - "Speak" CD
Has anyone heard this CD yet? Isn't it mind-numbingly accomplished for an artist of her years? Regard the intricate vocal arrangements and miniscule attention to perfectly timed instrumentation.

shes the freakin bomb. I bought the album because I love her. hehe I mean I thought it would be horrid but its not That bad really. Not my kind of music but its decent.
The album artwork is well worth the 10 bucks I paid for it anyways.
Yeah Its sad that a 24 year old has a crush on a girl that I cant get, but I mean shes amazing!

No, I must disagree with you. This is not standard troll stuff. I mean, yes, it pays to be discerning, but sometimes pop cheese like this can be enjoyable too. Not everyone HAS to obsess about X&Y all the time, and albums such as these do have their place in our culture, believe it or not. I for one, really enjoy it, and blast it in the mornings. I even got the Japanese edition with the amazing 80s sounding bonus track 'Magnet'.
And she was HOT in 'Mean Girls'

Saying "pop cheese like this can be enjoyable too" is understandable, because I will defend to the death your right to listen to whatever the hell you want, but using this statement to describe LL's album...
"Isn't it mind-numbingly accomplished for an artist of her years? Regard the intricate vocal arrangements and miniscule attention to perfectly timed instrumentation."
...is absolutely ludicrous, and, quite frankly, a little insulting both to people who appreciate real music and the real artists who play their own instruments, don't use layers of electronic effects to hide their vocal shortcomings, and generally bust their asses to create great, original material. And don't even get me started on live performance comparisons.
