seems to be on sale for 11.99 at Best buy, Target, and Circuit City. One hell of a value. I saw him live around November and almost all of his material was new stuff so presumably a lot of it will be on these discs. He was in top form.

While is newfound fame is a little nauseating, the CD delivers. He's hilarious, and one of the best stand-ups around.
The funniest thing is how he's been relentlessly pimping the CD over the past few months as something that will sell out right away at stores (he must get a cut of the online preorders). I walk into Best Buy today, and there's a ton of CDs sitting there unnoticed by the normal Tuesday stampede for new releases. The lady who checked me out didn't even know it was out.

I picked up the set at Best Buy (instead of going to my morning class) and quickly went home to rip the 2 CDs onto my iPod.
I listened to "Want" while I was working out, however I was quite disappointed by it. While there are some moments on it that are fuckin' hilarious, the last 22 minutes of "Want" just drag on and on and on (more specifically, I'm talking about the last two tracks -- At The Wall and The Chicken Sangwish, The Heckler, and the Kabbash). Those two tracks do have some funny material, but each didn't need to be ten-minute plus jokes.
I'll listen to "Need" tomorrow at the gym and I'll check out the DVD sometime later.
As of now, this set does not compare to the greatness that was "Harmful If Swallowed."

Bought it. Can't wait to give it a spin. Unfortunately, not in a funny mood right now, although I did check out all of the DVD earlier. Laughed myself retarded at some parts.

I picked this up today as well. I've been looking forward to this for awhile. I saw him perform about a year and a half ago at a college in LI, and he was awesome - did all new material that wasn't on the "Harmful" album. Some of us waited for him to come out afterwards, and he signed my cd.

I listened to "Need" this morning while at the gym. I prefer it over "Want" simply because it's not as hit and miss. While it has less laugh out loud moments than "Want," it's a lot smoother from joke to joke and there's only one track on it that drags too long (The Nothing Fight).
I watched the DVD, other than the Tourgasm teaser and the footage from Dennis Leary's roast, I was disappointed with everything else on it.
It's sad that Retaliation couldn't reach the greatness that Harmful... holds, but other than a few tracks, it's a solid effort from Dane.
