Not to mention he has several aliases he's used for producing and recording:

Alexander Nevermind
Paisley Park
Joey Coco
Christopher
...and probably others I can't think of right now.

Taken from an AP story on John Lee Hooker:

Like many postwar bluesmen, Hooker got cheated by one fly-by-night record producer after another, who demanded exclusivity or didn't pay. Hooker fought back by recording with rival producers under a slew of different names: Texas Slim, John Lee Booker, John Lee Cocker, Delta John, Birmingham Sam and the Boogie Man, among others.

Double shame. He was also the last drummer for Scream, an incredible hardcore band before he was the drummer for Nirvana.

GOD!!! The thread asked for Side Projects!!!! Scream was before Nirvana, it was within itself. Nirvana was within itself. Foo Fighters (Daves Demo) you could say was a side project from Nirvana.
I listed a few bands that Dave was in as a SIDE PROJECT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes there are a few more you could add to that, but I wasnt simply listing every single band Daves been in.
