I would much rather have a multi channel version of Ágætis Byrjun.

I've seen these guys live a few times, very enjoyable, gonna skip them this time though.

A very limited tour here in US...the closest they come to Florida it seems is Atlanta GA. Oh well, at least there's a new album to enjoy...

On just one listen I think "Hoppípolla" is going to be a career standout. Yum.

Just got it. It's definitley one the highlights of the year so far. More accessible that (), but still nowhere near mainstream.

It's only $9.99 at Circuit City and Best Buy, so I may go and pick this one up this week.

And Tower, in case that's more convenient for anyone.

Just saw them in NY on Monday. Really amazing. I had seen them in Brooklyn 2 years ago, but this time was even better. I guess the front-row seats I got on craigslist helped the experience a bit. I should've gone again yesterday, but now I gotta wait 2 years for them to come back again! Go see them!

I am seeing them on the 20th in Ann Arbor, MI. How long did they play for? Was there an opening band?

The opening band is Anima, who is a string quartet who actually plays with Sigur Ros during Sigur Ros' set. They played for...hmm, I'd say like 95 minutes.

We're people allowed to bring cameras to the show?

Just bought this one today. I've listened to it a few times, and it's much more accessible than ( ) was. That's not saying much, but it's very good. My wife even seemed to enjoy a bit of it, and she's not a big fan.

Definitely worth a listen.

I had ( ) for a while but it never quite grabbed me. I picked up Takk last week and then two days later rushed out and got Ágætis Byrjun, which seems to be the favorite of a lot of reviewers. (I don't know how ( ) seem to get all the press, maybe the gimmicky title...)

Anyway, my listening since then has consisted of
Takk
Ágætis Byrjun
Takk
Ágætis Byrjun
Takk
Ágætis Byrjun
and so on, ad infinitum...

I can't stop. It's too wonderful.
