I guess I didn't know that Stevie Ray Vaughan was dead. I've only recently gotten into him, so every album I buy is new to me. He'll get my vote.

Although, even just for the sheer "that's bullshit" factor, Dimebag would be a close second.

My friend John, who died two nights ago. He was the best drummer I've ever played with.

John Bonham. Wouldn't mind seeing Zeppelin one last time. That is if you can scrape up the $5000 for a ticket from scalpers.

Too many to names, but I would pick Joe Strummer. I thought before his death there was a rumor of The Clash getting together again. London Calling is still the best album the group ever put out, I never get tired of hearing it.

Besides those already listed I would add Shannon Hoon (Blind Melon) and another call for Ian Curtis.

What? That Bon is not better than Brian or that there is any resemblance? Or that Back in Black is perfect the way it is?
I love ACDC up to and including Back in Black. After that, it's a crapshoot.

As I was typing the above answer I was listening to Robin Trower's "Bridge of Sighs" CD and boy do I miss the great vocal talents of James Dewar so I'll give him a vote too.
