This looks like a nice two disc set, but I will pass. I just bought the MJ box set from BMG for $10.75 (used five free music vouchers).

The thing that was dumb about the Number 1s Disc was cutting off the beginning of Don't stop Til you get enough and the inclusion of Ben (Live) so this should be much better

The first disc looks awesome.

I hardly recognize anything from the second disc.

I guess I'm an old fart. But I'm only 34!

The only song on this that I don't have on CD is Rockin Robin'... and I think I could get that on one of those 4.99 "20th Century Masters CDs"

MJ is such a tease... There is SO much stuff he hasn't released that his fans are so desperately waiting for. I hear that for any given album there are just as many songs that he recorded, but didn't put on, and I loved "Fall Again," "Sunset Driver," "Streetwalker," and "We've Had Enough," all unreleased songs that could have made albums! I'm with Rogue - give me the unreleased MJ, Making of Thriller, Moonwalker, EO, and Making of Moonwalker (I downloaded a really blurry version of this in french but it looked kinda cool) and I'll be happy.

I was hoping that "Say Say Say" would be on this. However, I'm thinking that MJ and Paul have some sort of an agreement (?) where "The Girl Is Mine" is on the MJ albums and "Say Say Say" is on Paul's "All The Best" hits album.

As for "Say Say Say", it would have probably been on a Jackson collection by now if Michael hadn't screwed Paul out of the Beatles catalog of songs!

Does anyone think that Give In To Me deserves to be on any of these. I think it's a great song.

Yeah, that's where I heard them... I guess my point wasn't too clear. I meant that the previously unreleased songs I've heard, I've liked, and I want more because I know there're a lot more... The Ultimate Collection was worth it for I Wanna Be Where You Are and the demos/unreleased tracks, but this thing doesnt have anything I don't.

I already have all the albums on one format or another, plus HIStory, Number #1s, and The Ultimate Collection. There's nothing much different here to warrant a purchase unless someone has it on sale the first week for a good price ($9.99 or so).

I think I'll just save a little more money and get the Ultimate Collection (I see it on Amazon for around $30 bucks used). That looks pretty nice. Can someone tell me how different the demo versions of the songs sound?

I like MJ, but I'm getting a little tired of buying hits collections altogether. I'm a sucker for them anyway so when I can get a good box set then that's it. Heck, I could have bought the whole discography of several artists the way they put out and I buy the hits, number 1's, love songs, dance songs, acoustic, etc, etc.

I will also pick this up if they do a first week $9.99. It is weird to leave off Scream though.

Ditto to what NitroJMS said. I have all this stuff.

I got the Ultimate Collection for Christmas from a friend, it's great.

Wanted to get the We Are The World solo for a long time, it's not half bad.

A 2 disc greatest hits makes more sense than a single disc. But it still leaves off a few tracks that deserve to be represented. But the 4 disc is padded with unnecessary tracks. Seems like a 3 disc set would be right.

Is the audio in "LIVE Dangerous concert DVD" from the Ultimate Collection in PCM 2.0, DD 2.0, or DD 5.1?
