Just saw a band tonight called Spoon as well as Architecture in Helsinki (about homes?).

Last night I saw Brazilian Girls and the Futurheads but I haven't seen any in my home.

Saw the Pixies Thursday night. We have some pixie sticks (actually they were a promo for the Pixies way back when)


Saturday I'll see three or four more bands. One I'd like to see in my home would be some Nashville P*ssy.

I went to the fridge to see if we had any cake available. Only some batter which needed sugar so I added it and put it into the oven and turned it to hot hot heat. Madness!!! I said, not thinking I could get it done in time. In my rush I had forgotten my labrador in my driveway, and we all know dogs die in hot cars. What a tool I am. If the cars get just a bit hot, I would need to drive him to the clinic. It was as hot as fiery furnaces outside that day. That dog drives me crazy. Luckily, I got him out in time. Yeah, yeah, yeah, I know I got lucky this time.

To celebrate, I made myself a pink martini. I took out the newspaper and looked at the specials they had at the market. a-ha! Leftover salmon for $3.11/lb. That'll make good dinner. Better than the crap they serve at the drive in.

Damn! That was hot! Luckily you didn't have an arcade fire on your hands-that would have burned your stiff little fingers. Of course it was good you were having a bloc party-everyone would have helped put that thing out with some vanilla ice. That whole thing sounded ludacris!
